Vacationer are a bit of an ‘it’ band at the moment. They had a lot of hype around SXSW, and for once the hype seems justified. They’re amazing.

They’ve got some amazing songs, and they’re original, different and exciting – 4 things us bloggers look for more than anything. I wish I’d gone to SXSW, even if it was just to see this band.

They’ve got great songs, great lyrics and a great website. The website is one of these arty interactive ones, a trend set by The Arcade Fire with their Wilderness Downtown idea. This is just as cool – if anything it’s better because it doesn’t fill your screen with a fuck load of different windows. Your greeted by the words ‘Enter your destination here…’
