The Dean’s List are a hip-hop group from Boston, and are made up of Sonny Shotz, DJ Mendoza and Mik Beats. They formed in 2009 and have put out a string of releases including the 2010 mixtape Undeclared and 2011′s The Drive In. However, it’s new album, Generation X, that could really break the group into the big-time.

I suppose it’s a good blend of hip hop, pop and indie music, which should mean their audience will be as diverse as they are.

It’s a proper feel good hip hop/pop track and is guaranteed to be play throughout LA clubs for years to come. It’s the second single from their upcoming album, Generation X, which is released in April.

They’ve just played SXSW and have an upcoming US tour coming up, but hopefully they’ll be over to the UK soon.
