I first heard Deptford Goth about 4.06 minutes ago, when I heard his new song People Get Still. It was put online about 2 hours ago, so not bad going, although Abeano still got there first, fair play! Take a listen, then I’ll talk more.
Deptford Goth, real name of Daniel Woodhouse, is actually from Peckham, but I guess ‘Peckham Goth’ doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. From what I gather he’s been putting out music for a little while, most recently last years EP, Youth II.
Apparently he’s currently working on his album, and if People Get Still wasn’t good enough to go on it then we’re in for a treat. More info as soon as we get it, but keep an eye on this amazing talent.
